In this position, you will be responsible for operating various vehicles and equipment as required, alongside executing manual labor tasks to contribute to the facility's objective of ensuring a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for both individuals and staff. Responsibilities will encompass conducting pre-trip inspections of assigned equipment, making visual assessments, performing manual adjustments, and documenting findings in written and/or verbal formats as needed. It is crucial to maintain precise daily inspections for the Monthly Mileage Reports.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

• Full-time employment
• This position works rotating shifts and requires working some weekends, 30 min lunch.
• Overtime and travel as needed
• Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

• Six months experience in the operation and maintenance of large vans, buses and single-chassis trucks with a gross vehicle weight of 10,001 pounds or more.
  or
• Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
  

Special Requirement:

• This position requires possession of a valid Class C Pennsylvania driver's license.

Conditions of Employment:

• This position requires that candidates possess a valid Class B Commercial Drivers License (CDL) with air brake endorsement at hire.
• Must obtain passenger endorsement within 6 months of employment.

Other Requirements:

• You must be able to perform essential job functions.

Legal Requirements:

• A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination.
• This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.
