Join our Team As a Mechanically Trained Operator, you'll play a key role in ensuring smooth operations of our high-speed packaging and production equipment. Reporting to the Packaging Lead, this hybrid role combines production support with basic maintenance tasks, helping to optimize efficiency, minimize downtime, and maintain our high standards of safety and quality. Benefits * Salary: $24.90 per hour (plus 2nd and 3rd shift premium) * Health, Dental, Vision, disability insurance * Annual Incentive Program * Traditional and Roth 401(k) with matching * Paid Time Off * Employee Assistance Program * Life and AD&D Insurance * Paid Holidays The Role As a Mechanically Trained Operator, you'll operate and monitor high-speed equipment, troubleshoot minor mechanical issues, and support preventive & predictive maintenance tasks to ensure efficient production flow. What You'll Do * Operate and Monitor Equipment: o Operate high-speed packaging and production equipment, ensuring production targets are met. o Perform equipment setups, changeovers, and basic adjustments to maintain operational efficiency. * Troubleshoot and Maintain Equipment: o Diagnose and resolve minor mechanical issues, escalating complex problems to the Maintenance Technician or Maintenance Team. o Conduct routine inspections, cleaning, lubrication, and basic repairs to ensure equipment reliability. o Assist with preventive maintenance tasks to reduce downtime and extend equipment life. * Collaborate and Communicate: o Work closely with the Packaging Lead and maintenance team to address equipment performance challenges. o Provide feedback on operational issues and suggest improvements to optimize workflows. * Ensure Safety and Compliance: o Adhere to OSHA, GMP, SQF, and HACCP standards to maintain a safe and compliant work environment. o Participate in safety initiatives and report potential hazards. * Track and Report: o Log downtime, repairs, and performance metrics using CMMS systems. o Accurately report production throughput, material usage, and waste generation. Requirements
