Join our team to support the U.S. Navy's logistics and readiness initiatives as a Logistics Analysis Coordinator (Wargames Analyst) at the Pentagon. In this vital role, you'll collaborate with key stakeholders to drive the development and implementation of joint logistics strategies, enhance sustainment capabilities, and contribute directly to mission-critical warfighting concepts. Essential Duties Logistics Strategy & Concept Development
- Support the creation and refinement of sustainment strategies and logistics concepts for naval operations and force design.
- Assist in integrating naval logistics initiatives into OPNAV N4's broader planning and capability development.
Collaboration & Coordination
- Work with Joint Staff, other Services, and multinational partners to advance contested logistics strategies, doctrine, and capabilities.
- Represent Navy logistics interests in inter-agency meetings and strategic dialogues, including Joint Capabilities Boards and logistics working groups.
Analytical Support & Wargaming
- Lead or contribute to Navy's wargaming efforts, utilizing analytical tools to evaluate logistics capabilities and warfighting sustainment requirements.
- Collaborate with the Fleet and relevant stakeholders to identify capability gaps and support logistics sustainment strategies in real-world operations.
Program Management & Representation
- Participate in strategic program planning, especially in developing the Program Objective Memorandum (POM) for OPNAV N4, prioritizing naval logistics investments.
- Serve as OPNAV N4's representative in joint and service-level logistics and wargaming activities.
Additional Responsibilities
- Assist in the coordination and execution of Joint, Naval, and Service war gaming exercises.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support logistics planning and strategic goals.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics analysis or related field.
- Strong ability to communicate Navy logistics positions effectively with senior stakeholders, including Joint Staff and multinational partners.
- Proven experience in coordinating multi-disciplinary logistics and analytical efforts.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with qualitative and quantitative analytic methods.
- Experience conducting and/or participating in logistics wargames and studies.
- In-depth understanding of Navy organizational structure and logistics operations.
- Experience with the Program Objective Memorandum (POM) process and cross-functional team coordination.
- Knowledge of Joint logistics operations and functions.
Education & Certification
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
Required Clearance
- Active Secret Security Clearance required.
Travel
- Up to 10% travel may be required.
