Business Development Associate

Triumvirate Environmental, one of the largest environmental services firms in North America, is seeking a motivated and ambitious Business Development Associate to help grow our presence in New Braunfels, Texas.

In this role, you will be a key player in executing our growth strategy by identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and driving sales initiatives. You'll collaborate closely with our sales and marketing teams to engage prospects, qualify leads, and support the continued success of the company.

What to Expect - Training Program:
We invest heavily in your development. Your journey begins with 1-3 months of hands-on field training, where you'll learn our services firsthand at client sites-either in your home region or at our headquarters in Boston.

Afterward, you'll join your peers in Boston for up to 1 month of immersive sales training, focused on mastering consultative sales strategies and targeted prospecting for your assigned region.

Once training is complete, you'll return to New Braunfels fully equipped to launch your sales career and make a measurable impact.

This position reports to the National Sales Manager and offers a base salary plus commission, with a competitive compensation aligned to experience and performance.

Responsibilities:



  • Work closely with the sales team to identify and qualify potential customers and target markets.
  • Engage prospects through cold calls, email campaigns and social media outreach to open "new doors".
  • Manage leads by setting appointments, following up on leads, and tracking progress through the sales cycle.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop strategies for reaching sales targets.
  • Learn and effectively use sales and prospecting tools, including CRM software.
  • Master the consultative sales process through ongoing training and practice.
  • Deeply understand prospects' goals and challenges to position Triumvirate's services as effective solutions.
  • Consult with clients to support their environmental compliance and sustainability goals.
  • Provide regular reports on sales activities and results to management.
  • Represent Triumvirate at industry networking events to build brand awareness and identify new opportunities.
  • Build strong, positive working relationships with colleagues, including field personnel and internal departments.


Basic Requirements:



  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Environmental Science, or a related field
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Eagerness to learn, grow professionally, and contribute with a winning, enthusiastic attitude
  • Strong time management and organizational skills; ability to adapt quickly and shift priorities as needed
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Ability to complete tasks with urgency, effectiveness, and attention to detail
  • Willingness to support others and contribute to team success
  • Familiarity with Sandler Sales methodology or consultative sales training is a plus
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without future sponsorship
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Must be willing to undergo a Motor Vehicle Record screening, criminal background check, pre-employment physical, and drug screening (including THC)
