DESCRIPTION/JOB SUMMARY

Operate tandem axle tractor and 24 ft straight truck to move trailers and other equipment around the yard and ensuring that they are properly positioned for loading and unloading



RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES

*Shuttle material to and from all Pride facilities and local Suppliers in a timely manner as directed by management

*Maintain load manifests/barcodes and all other vehicle documents, ensuring they are properly completed and balanced with truck counts and shipping documents before and after deliveries /pickups

*Assist and direct incoming trucks to the proper areas

*Comply with appropriate transportation, safety organizations, Pride safety guidelines and report any safety related incident and/or potential safety hazard to management

*Assist with organization and cleaning of work area, keeping aisles and walkways clear at all times

*Assist with loading and unloading trucks using a powered industrial forklift

*Assist with the physical inventory and able to effectively communicate with peers, supervisors, and management in evaluating the materials systems

*Provide back-up assistance in other areas, including receiving and or as directed

*Ensure all safety and security rules are strictly observed and any accidents, incidents or injuries are promptly reported to management

*Attend the Annual C-TPAT Security Training

*Focus on continuous improvement, and consistently demonstrate good business judgment

*Work effectively with all Pride departments to exceed internal and external expectations

*Pride retains the discretion to modify duties and/or assign other duties as necessary



REQUIRED SKILLS

*Must be a team player, friendly, detail-oriented, and honest

Must have the ability to:

*Multi-task, problem-solve, and prioritize in a fast-paced working environment

*Safely operate a powered industrial forklift

*Lift/Push/Pull up to 50 lbs.

*Work extended hours, including weekends, as business needs dictate

Must have:

*Relentless drive to achieve advancement and continuous improvement

*A willingness to learn and/or adapt to new work procedures

*Good verbal and written communication skills

*CDL A



REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

*At least 6 months safely driving a tractor-trailer or large truck



PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

*At least 1 year of on-road CDL and yard jockey experience preferred

*At least 1 year of transportation and logistics experience preferred

*At least 1 year of materials handling experience in a production or warehouse environment preferred

*Current or previous successful employment experience with Pride Mobility Products Corporation preferred



PREFERRED EDUCATION

*High School Diploma or GED preferred



REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

*Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now, or in the future
