The Rehabilitation Services Quality Team Lead is currently licensed to practice physical therapy, occupational therapy, or speech-language pathology in the State of Ohio. The staff member will work across the assigned Rehabilitation Services departments within Ohio State University's Wexner Medical Center, overseeing the designated quality program components in Rehabilitation Services in support of quality program goals. The Rehab Services quality program encompasses physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy. The Quality Team Lead is responsible for promoting a culture of continuous improvement, enhancing the quality of rehabilitation services, and assuring the integrity, compliance, and quality of rehabilitation services at Ohio State University's Wexner Medical Center.

The Rehab Services Quality Team Lead will report directly to the Rehabilitation Services Associate Director of Quality and Outcomes or the Rehabilitation Services Quality Assurance Manager with guidance from the Rehab Services Senior Director, Directors, and Associate Directors. The Quality Team Lead is responsible for ensuring consistency in quality and compliance of improvement processes and/or clinical documentation across assigned Rehabilitation Services units within Ohio State University's Wexner Medical Center; promoting process improvement principles; and leading quality/process improvement initiatives within the assigned areas of Rehabilitation Services. The individual will coordinate communication.

Minimum Qualifications

Required: The QA Coordinator will hold current licensure with the State of Ohio Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, and Athletic Training Board or Ohio Speech and Hearing Professionals Board, per their clinical discipline. Two year of relevant experience required.

Preferred: Background in compliance, quality assurance, quality improvement, and/or project management. Experience with interdepartmental and/or interdisciplinary communication and coordination.

Maintains professional licensure; demonstrates commitment to continuing education; meets mandatory education and health requirements; demonstrates competence in technical, interpersonal, and cognitive skills required to meet essential job functions.
