How would you like to join our team as an electrical technician developing high precision electro-mechanical systems supporting commercial, military aerospace, semi-conductor and satellite space systems? As a member of our team, you will join a cross-functional and dynamic group of professionals responsible for electrical compliance testing of high-precision measuring systems. With our team you will have the opportunity to utilize and develop your electrical skills in a fast-paced business unit with a broad range of testing from simple meters and oscilloscopes to laser interferometer based calibrations.

We are looking for an experience electrical technician to supplement our testing team. This is a great opportunity to contribute to a test group supporting some of the most advanced communication, space and high precision displacement businesses in the USA.

Qualifications:




  • Diploma from Technical High School or


Engineering Technology or Community College Electrical Technology Degree.



  • 2-5 years of on-the-job experience in electronics/electrical testing and troubleshooting.
  • Working knowledge of electronic circuits (analog, digital) and experience in a testing environment.
  • Possess initiative to learning new skills with working closing in a team environment.
  • Strong communication skills in a collaborative working atmosphere.



Responsibilities:




  • Working in a production environment with ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) and FOD (Foreign Object Detection) controls.
  • Perform electronics testing and electronic tuning supporting low-volume high mix production line. Troubleshooting electronics as needed to support on-time delivery, department critical performance indicators (KPI's), test equipment builds and integration/test..
  • Maintaining organization (5S) in test area as well as monitoring/maintaining department testing equipment calibrations.
  • Working with Visual manufacturing ERP bill or materials, technical drawings and work instructions. Using varied production test equipment, in house designed test sets, thermal chambers, vibration equipment, multimeters, oscilloscopes and computer-controlled test equipment.
  • Perform complicated electronic testing. This includes bench testing, in process testing, sub assembly testing, customer level final acceptance testing.
  • Assist engineering department in modifying test processes and interpret test data and any unusual performance variations.
  • Support company initiatives including AS9100 and ensuring continuous improvement of policies, procedures and products.
  • Supporting the prototype development of test equipment for testing products in both our commercial and military business areas.
