Job Title: Production Coordinator

Location: Brooklyn Park, MN

Comp: $25-35/hour

The Production Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the daily activities of preparing parts orders, preparing outgoing shipments. Performs a variety of complicated tasks and can handle unique requests and opportunities. This position relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. This position promotes and enforces KAI quality standards for all E&E equipment and is a champion for safety.



Responsibilities

    Reviewing projects in the ERP system to ensure items required for a successful installation are on track for delivery to the correct location and communicating to the team any deficiencies.
  • Staging, preparing and documenting projects for shipment
  • Coordinate shipping activities with Project Manager, Shipper, and Contractor within budget
  • Manages the municipal/industrial warehouse space in a collaborative manner with Microelectronics and Receiving personnel.
  • Primary contact with the Chemical Sales Team and oversee production schedule including builds/shipments from sales order demand.
  • Acts as liaison between departments and actively resolves issues,
  • Initiates and follows through on process and efficiency improvements
  • Provide leadership for adherence to shipping and production schedules
  • Documents systematic concerns in the QMS/NC system for visibility to Management.
  • Supports a safe workplace by following established safety guidelines.
  • Proficient backup for other Production activities


Qualifications

  • Demonstrated ability to successfully lead and motivate other team members
  • Demonstrated high level of ability to develop plans and accomplish goals
  • Demonstrated high level of ability to successfully complete complicated tasks
  • 3+ years of experience with field's concepts, practices, and procedures
  • Forklift Certified
