We are looking for a strong leader that will share in our passion for this mission and lead a team within the Default Processing Department with humility and excellence.

The Default Processing department is responsible for the foreclosure review and referral process. The team assists in sending out demand letters, ensures document and system accuracy, and facilitates the assigning of the loan to local foreclosure attorneys.

A successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing and approving loans for foreclosure referral and managing the daily work of the team.

Primary responsibilities include:



  • Understanding applicable investor, insurer, and state level requirements for foreclosure demand and referral processing
  • Implementing regulatory and process changes w/in the department core system and ensuring appropriate controls are in place to mitigate risk
  • Monitoring operational inventory and performance metrics to ensure team success
  • Establishing clear expectations for employee performance
  • Providing coaching, mentoring, and development to employees
  • Researching and resolving issues timely to prevent process delays
  • Managing various project and other relevant duties as required



Position requirements:

This position requires a Bachelor's degree and 3-5 years' management experience, OR in lieu of a degree, commensurate work history of 5-7 years of experience in an operational, financial services, mortgage servicing or corporate environment will be considered. Work history must include demonstrated success managing/leading a team, to include performance, productivity, engagement and a process improvement background.

  • Exceptional analytical ability, creative problem-solving skills, and strong attention to detail
  • Aptitude to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and a capacity to work in a deadline-driven environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills as expected to lead team meetings and present information to different levels of management
  • Ability to exercise discretion and sound judgement
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
