Scope of Position The outpatient service centers, which includes the Outpatient phlebotomy sites located at Ross, Doan, McCampbell, Martha Morehouse, Stoneridge Internal Medicine, Carepoint Lewis Center, Carepoint Gahanna and Central Processing Area encompass specimen collection and specimen processing within the Department of Clinical Laboratories. The Central Processing Area is staffed 24 hours per day, Sunday through Saturday. The patient service center locations are staffed between the hours of 7:00 am to 5:30pm, Monday through Friday, in order to accommodate each patient service center's specific hours of operation. Position Summary Minimum Qualifications Associates degree in medical laboratory technology or Biological Science. 4 years of relevant experience required. 6 or more years of relevant experience preferred. Desired Qualifications: Good working knowledge of the principles, operations, and maintenance of lab equipment is required. Strong leadership skills, prior experience in completion of written employee evaluations. Ability to solve both internal and external customer service issues. Supervisory experience preferred. Good working knowledge of large multi-aspect processing area is preferred. |
