- Expertise in glycobiology, analytical chemistry, biochemistry, and/or project/laboratory management.

Position Summary |
Play a leadership role in planning, directing, and coordinating research efforts among multiple laboratories at
UGA with PI with regards to the
NSF BioFoundry awarded to
UGA. Be the point person for interactions with external users of BioFoundry resources and work closely with PIs to manage relationships. Be in charge of regulatory compliances and budgetary management. Take the lead on maintaining an active outreach plan including management of website and social media platforms. Be a central point of contact for maintaining communication between
UGA researchers and the National Science Foundation. The ideal individual will be able to evaluate the science and needed resources of external/internal applicants seeking to work with the BioFoundry and work collaboratively with them in proposal building and, in specific instances, the execution of the research. |
