Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work on-site with our client in Mason, OH. Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

  • As an Assembler, you will be responsible for various assembly operations tasks, such as assembling precision electro-optical semiconductor components, welding, and soldering under optical magnification levels.
  • Additionally, you will be responsible for following standard practices and procedures to operate leaded equipment.
  • Complete assigned solder processes as necessary (Soldering components, configuring cabling, and configuring wires).
  • Support group objectives for on-time delivery.
  • Assemble mechanical or electrical components for customer deliverables.
  • Verify the use of the most updated procedures.
  • Follow industry standards or practices for 6S.
  • Perform torque training and inspect hardware and mechanical assembly.
  • Crimping cables with a wide range of tools (Hand crimping tools).
  • Assist in guiding peers in completing daily tasks.

Here's what you'll get:

Pay: $21+/hr.

Hours: 40 hours/week (1st Shift 7 AM start).

Length: Temp to Direct (8 Months).

Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 6 years experience with manufacturing assembly.
  • Minimum of 6 years experience in operating computers.
  • Minimum of 6 years experience using basic hand tools such as screwdrivers, plyers, and wire strippers.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • J-STD-001 certification.
  • Able to navigate email and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to learn to read/follow drawings and work instructions.
  • Be an effective communicator.
  • Soldering

Additional Information:

  • Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.
  • In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be needed to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the necessary employment eligibility verification form upon hire.
  • The ability to use a microscope for long periods.
  • Prolonged sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift to 15 pounds at times.
  • Prolonged standing.
  • Must be able to move from lab to lab and inside the lab that you are located in.
