Test and evaluate Chassis/PT/EL/INFO concerns for new vehicle models and provide recommendations for improvement
Investigate/support testing and evaluation of Chassis/PT/EL quality issues on Hyundai, Genesis, or Kia vehicles responding to requests from Hyundai Motor Group, sales affiliates, vehicle assembly plants, and sudden increases in warranty claims
Conduct on-site investigations to collect subjective and objective data during driving to identify concerns to perform root cause analysis
Basic knowledge of Chassis/PT/EL fundamentals including NVH, Steering, Ride & Handling, Brakes, EV System, ADAS, Infotainment, etc.
Ability to provide support in collaboration with other groups/affiliates of test plans for the various quality tests done for new models
Engineering analysis and research results for 'lessons learned' on current and future models
Benchmark competitive vehicles to research differences and improve HMG vehicle systems
Conduct vehicle audits for Hyundai & Kia models during developmental stages and after vehicle launch
Create and present technical and weekly reports as assigned
Perform additional projects as assigned
Requirements:
Pursuing a bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering
Valid Drivers License and satisfactory driving record
