Position Summary The Pile Driving Crane Operator is responsible for safely operating heavy equipment, primarily cranes, to drive and install driven pipe piles on Deep Foundations projects. This role requires extensive experience in crane operations and pile driving, ensuring precision and safety in all activities. The operator works closely with project teams to meet project schedules and quality standards while adhering to Forgen's core values and safety protocols. Forgen Deep Foundations Overview At Forgen, we deploy a wide range of deep foundation techniques, including driven piles of all types, drilled shafts, auger-cast/displacement piles, micro piles, secant/tangent piles, helical piles, stone columns, deep soil mixing and dynamic compaction. As a prime contractor or subcontractor, we offer customized solutions for material supply, installation, or full turnkey services, delivering high-quality results for ground improvement, excavation support, and complex foundation systems. Physical Demands & Work Environment This role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, extended standing or walking on project sites, climbing in and out of equipment, and working in confined spaces or at heights. Work conditions and demands may vary, with possible exposure to heavy machinery, chemicals, dust, fumes, noise, and extreme weather. Proper PPE, including protective eyewear, gloves, a hard hat, and steel-toed boots, is required. Effective communication, tool use, and adherence to safety protocols are essential.
