Job Type: RegularThe National Security Research Division (NSRD) is seeking a Division Administrator that will have oversight for a wide variety of detailed financial and/or operational activities within a division under a moderate level of supervision. The Division Administrator independently monitors financial data and manages moderately complex to advanced budgets to support research activities across various contract and grant types, commercial, and foundational clients. They are responsible for administrative tasks which may include conflict of interest reviews, assistance with HSPC related tasks, database management, internal communication facilitation, quality assurance monitoring of QA procedures for research projects, and project description coordination. The Division Administrator is expected to possess a foundational understanding of the financial and operational policies, procedures, and practices, enabling them to anticipate and use independent judgment to respond to internal client needs. These positions are expected to support and contribute to cross-divisional and internal team trainings and work on limited process-focused improvements.Additionally, these positions may serve as a point of contact for a program or center. Qualifications
Experience Minimum 8 years of relevant experience; 4 years preferred (with a bachelor's degree). Education High school diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred. Clearance Current possession of a U.S. security clearance, or the ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance, is required. Location Santa Monica, CA, Washington DC, or Pittsburgh, PA. This position requires close proximity to one of the 3 offices to access and process classified documents. This is a hybrid position. Salary Range: $64,400-$96,100 RAND considers a variety of factors when formulating an offer, including but not limited to, the specific role and associated responsibilities; a candidate's work experience, education/training, skills, expertise; and internal equity.The salary range includes base pay plus RAND's sabbatic pay (which provides additional compensation above base pay when vacation is taken).
