Title: Sr. Data Associates
Duration: 2+ Months
Location: Remote based in CST or EST time zones
Shift/Hours: M-F 8 am - 5 pm in CST or EST

Job Summary:
- This role serves as an escalated point of contact for People-related research and transactions regarding confidential and Personally Identifiable Information (PII), for active and non-active employees.
- This includes but is not limited to data change requests for People systems, job information changes, and status/classification changes.
- Leverages strong working knowledge to resolve data entry work that is more complex, sensitive, and/or confidential in nature.
- The Sr. Data Associate improves on data entry quality results by completing audits, identifying trends, and determining system improvements.
- In this role, you have gained technical familiarity with internal systems and are responsible for ensuring the quality and correctness of transferred information.
- This role also reviews, updates, and enforces data entry policies and procedures.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- This role is the same day in and day out.
- This person will be responsible for mandatory OEWS surveys, managing an alias mailbox, handling cases, handling transactions, etc.
- High volume work (60-100 transactions a day and 20-40 cases a day).
- Cases take longer to work than transactions unless there is an error. This person will not be entering data or submitting data.
- They will be reviewing and then approving or declining at a high-level overview. Working on global data.
- Providing backup material when finance requests it to confirm you have the approvals needed. There are also additional responsibilities.
- Will need to complete an audit prior to a pay period to ensure accuracy.
- The team will have reference material and resources and will go through a 2-week training period.
- Primary Transactions this person will be reviewing - Job changes, salary changes, bonus payments, bonus targets.
- Responsible for handling escalated cases that are more complex, confidential, and/or sensitive in nature.
- Must be able to comfortably handle cases at the executive level and effectively provide superior "white glove" customer service.
- In addition to performing advanced research and analysis, you must work closely with HRIS and D&T cross-functional teams for technical troubleshooting and manage "behind the scenes" processes.
- Has a strong understanding of the People landscape and likely specializes in one or more People Service offerings, including but not limited to payroll, onboarding, talent acquisition, data management, learning & development, and leave of absence.
- Accountable for managing confidential requests coming from SVP level or higher, and processing exception requests.
- Ensures that all requests are processed correctly and that the best possible resolution is achieved by working closely with the other People departments (i.e. Payroll, Compensation, Benefits, etc.).
- Leverages data entry expertise and performs corrections to existing data sets (i.e. CI census uploads).
- Understands how to navigate internal systems with specialty access that grants the ability to see, access, and resolve issues to existing data for employees across the enterprise.
- Receives, delegates, and manages mass/bulk load requests, projects, and process improvement projects (for example helps to create, implement, and monitor our artificial intelligence 4 BOT processes).
- Works to refine, continuously improve, and help implement new processes in addition to managing existing policies and procedures. Supports less-experienced members of the team in familiarizing themselves with processes and work procedures.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position.
- Provides informal assistance such as technical guidance, and/or training to coworkers.
Education and Experience:
- Secondary school degree or equivalent completion certificate required. Some post-secondary education is preferred.
- Minimum of 3+ years of People (Human Resources) experience required.
- Minimum of 3+ years related experience in data management required.
- Experience in PeopleSoft a plus.
- Experience in Taleo a plus.
Skills:
- Minimum typing speed of 60+ words per minute with a 95% accuracy rate required.
- Ability to comprehend and interpret instructions, short correspondence, and memos and ask clarifying questions to ensure understanding.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, and/or supervisors.
- Ability to effectively present information to an internal department and/or large groups of employees, at all levels.
- Requires knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and commissions. Conducts basic financial analysis.
- Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex documents. Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. Requires intermediate analytical and quantitative skills.
- Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite.

- Ability to proficiently utilize technology applications.
- Must be able to manage and delegate general instructions in escalated and high visibility, sensitive, and/or confidential situations.
