Position Summary Under limited supervision, will be responsible for providing responsible administrative assistant support while exercising independent judgement and good customer service skills for the Office of the Registrar.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist students, faculty, staff and the public by providing information and admission status
- Act as primary receptionist to the public
- Provide accurate information
- Receive calls and relay messages
- Receive, input and process transcript requests
- Organize and maintain office files and student records including confidential materials
- Examine, check and verify the accuracy of documents to include informational searches based on established protocols
- Code,tabulateandassembleacademicinformationandrelateddataincludingstandardforms,correspondence,records,reportsandstatistics
- Communicate with students concerning registration status
- Update students registration
- Review and distribute incoming mail, e-mail, and fax
- Complete budgetary items, order, purchase and oversee budget for department office supplies
- Prepare detailed schedules lists and materials for distribution and routine mailing
- Participate in cross-training through out department
- Perform administrative assistant duties including filing and verifying confidential information
- Supervise student workers in the office.
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Minimum Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or an equivalent certificate and one year of administrative assistant/clerical experience is required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Skill andknowledgeintheuseofstandardofficeequipmentincludingcalculator, computer hardware, and software
- Musthavegoodinterpersonalskillstointeracteffectivelyandcordiallywithadiverse public

Physical Demand and Working Conditions:
- Work is performed during normal hours but may include evening and weekend hours
- Work is sedentary in nature that at times requires exerting up to 15 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
