Position Overview

This is not a traditional Product Manager role. We need a strategic thinker who excels incritical thinking, communication, designing specifications, and guiding processes. The ideal candidate will serve as thebridge between business, technology, and operations, ensuring that our systems align with organizational goals while remaining user-friendly and efficient.

Key Responsibilities

  • Product Strategy & Vision
    • Define and execute the roadmap for Proforma's ERP and e-commerce platforms.
    • Collaborate with leadership to align product goals with business objectives.
    • Requirements Gathering & Specification Design
      • Work closely with stakeholders to translate business needs into detailed functional and technical specifications.
      • Ensure requirements are clear, comprehensive, and actionable for development teams.
      • Process Optimization & Execution
        • Guide the end-to-end product development process, from ideation to deployment.
        • Identify process inefficiencies and drive improvements to enhance productivity and system effectiveness.
        • Cross-Functional Collaboration
          • Partner with software engineers, UX designers, and business leaders to deliver high-impact features.
          • Serve as the key liaison between internal teams, ensuring alignment and clear communication.
          • User Experience & Adoption
            • Advocate for user-centric design principles in both ERP and e-commerce systems.
            • Conduct user testing and gather feedback to drive continuous improvements.
            • Data & Performance Analysis
              • Monitor product performance, analyze key metrics, and drive data-driven decision-making.
              • Identify trends, pain points, and opportunities for system enhancements.

                Qualifications & Skills

                • Strongcritical thinking and problem-solvingabilities, with a focus onbusiness process improvement.
                • Ability to createdetailed product specifications, wireframes, and workflows.
                • Excellentcommunication and stakeholder managementskills.
                • Experience withagile methodologiesand working with development teams.
                • Proficiency indata analysis and performance trackingtools.
                • Prior experience inpromotional products, retail, or supply chainis a plus.

              Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to:

              • the individual's skill sets, experience and training;
              • licensure and certification requirements;
              • office location and other geographic considerations;
              • other business and organizational needs.

              With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
