Position Title: Marketing Technology Manager Position Summary: The Marketing Technology Manager is a newly established position within the IT department, designed to translate the strategic vision of VP, MarTech Strategy and Enablement into tangible outcomes for our Marketing teams for both the current and future bank. As a central owner of the MarTech stack-which may include CDPs, marketing automation platforms, personalization tools, and various AI-driven solutions-this individual will provide technology enablement, integration guidance, and strategic direction. By focusing on operational excellence and day-to-day oversight of MarTech platforms, The Marketing Technology Manager plays a pivotal role in bridging Marketing and IT, ensuring that our Marketing teams are fully empowered to deliver impactful customer experiences and achieve strategic objectives Essential Duties and Responsibilities: MarTech Architecture & Strategy (25%)
- Collaborate with leadership to refine the MarTech blueprint-including CDP, marketing automation, analytics, and AI-driven tools-to meet both current and future marketing needs.
- Align daily operational goals with broader strategic objectives, maintaining a detailed roadmap that reflects emerging trends and business priorities.
Platform Ownership & Vendor Relations (25%)
- Serve as the in-house authority on selected MarTech platforms, ensuring seamless functionality, optimized configurations, and clear documentation.
- Coordinate vendor relationships, from contract negotiations to feature rollouts, guaranteeing that each tool meaningfully supports Marketing's objectives.
Marketing Enablement & Process Improvement (25%)
- Identify and address capability gaps by introducing technology-driven solutions (e.g., automated loyalty campaigns, personalized user journeys).
- Create playbooks, training materials, and best practices that empower Marketing to efficiently leverage MarTech tools.
- Foster a culture of collaboration and knowledge sharing between Marketing, IT, and other key stakeholders.
Integration & Data Governance (10%)
- Partner with cross-functional teams-IT, data, compliance, marketing operations-to design robust, secure integrations and real-time data flows.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and coordinate vendor support to keep marketing tools running smoothly.
Innovation & Continuous Advancement (10%)
- Stay abreast of evolving MarTech and ad tech landscapes, evaluating technologies such as Agentic AI or next-gen personalization tools for potential pilots.
- Lead the assessment and onboarding of new platforms, as well as the retirement of outdated solutions, ensuring a dynamic and forward-thinking tech stack.
Performance Measurement & Optimization (5%)
- Collaborate with analytics teams to define KPIs and track the impact of MarTech investments, delivering insights that guide ongoing improvements.
- Present data-driven findings to senior stakeholders, recommending adjustments that reinforce business goals and maintain regulatory compliance.
Minimum Qualifications: Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or double the relevant professional experience in lieu of a degree. An advanced degree is a plus.
Licensure:
- None required. (Professional certifications in marketing automation, project management, or related areas are beneficial but not mandatory.)
Experience:
- Proven experience (5+ years) in marketing technology, marketing automation, or similar roles, preferably in a regulated industry.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with one or more major MarTech platforms (Adobe Experience Cloud, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, etc.) or other composable MarTech platforms such as Segment, Hightouch, Braze, etc. Familiarity with APIs, data flows, event-driven tagging, and real-time integrations.
- Analytical Mindset: Ability to interpret complex data, derive insights, and translate them into actionable marketing strategies.
- Collaboration & Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills to partner with both technical and non-technical teams, clearly articulate solutions and best practices.
- Project Execution: A track record of driving projects to completion-coordinating across multiple teams, adhering to timelines, and maintaining strong documentation.
- Growth Mindset: Passion for learning, experimenting with new technologies, and adopting innovative strategies to elevate our marketing initiatives.

- Our company offers a dynamic hybrid work arrangement, which requires three days on-site, in the Sugar Land, TX office. Our retail roles are required to be onsite at the branch locations.
