The Mortgage Loan Officer IV originates mortgages for TDECU members. This person will interview and pre-qualify members to determine the proper loan program that benefits the member, complete loan applications packages including supporting documentation, set proper expectations with members and real estate agents, keep members and real estate agents informed on the loan status and assist Fulfillment as needed. The Mortgage Loan Officer will expand TDECU's mortgage sales opportunities through externally sourced channels while ensuring an optimal member experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Grow and maintain referral relationships with network of realtors, builders and members in association with the TDECU member base.
2. Take complete and accurate loan applications into the computerized mortgage system, providing members with all required disclosures, as well as obtaining all necessary support documents.
3. Pre-qualify members for the identified mortgage program/product and match them with BECU mortgage products that best meet the member's needs.
4. Negotiate terms and conditions of loans with members in accordance with Credit Union policies and procedures.Lock loans for members in accordance with TDECU policies and procedures.
5. Maintain a thorough knowledge of all mortgage products and services, including forms and documentation for each type of loan.

Minimum Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma or GED.
Experience: Minimum 7+ years as a Mortgage Loan Officer with a proven track record of success. Experience with conventional, FHA, VA and jumbo mortgage products strongly preferred.
