Brief Summary of Work for this Position

  • Assist HVAC Control Technicians in analyzing building automation and control systems and recommend modifications to achieve better operation or energy efficiency.
  • Assist in the performance of measurements and adjustments and repairs to DDC, electrical and pneumatic control systems.
  • Assist HVAC Control Technicians to perform preventive maintenance on building control system devices.
  • Assist in the preventive maintenance of heating, air conditioning, refrigeration, and ventilation equipment.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
High school diploma or equivalency; or demonstrated possession of the competencies necessary to perform the work.
Preferred Education, Knowledge, Skills & Experience
Experience in the trade(s) areas related to the area of assignment may be substituted on a year-for-year basis.
Required Certifications or Licensure
A valid NC Driver's license or the ability to obtain one within 30 days.
