Under direct supervision, acquires knowledge of the different functions within Pharmacy. Responsible for, but not limited to, compounding sterile and non-sterile medications, filling compounded medication orders, repackaging medications into unit dose form, answering phones, attending staff meetings, providing support to pharmacists, maintaining the safe handling and integrity of medications.

Pharmacy Technician [State License] - Generic - HR Only preferred Pharmacy Technician Trainee [Massachusetts] - Massachusetts Board of Registration in Pharmacy preferred

Experience
hospital-related experience, formal training, or certification from a pharmacy technician training program 0-1 year preferred
