Description Perform inside and outside maintenance construction and ground work. Description of Essential Functions (critical tasks) Essential Job Functions: Maintain college outside areas includes all types of grounds work. Perform vehicle and machinery repair. Snow removal. Operate machines equipment and use tools required to maintain buildings grounds and equipment. Perform painting. Planting trees flowers shrubs etc. Mowing trimming and spraying. Other related duties as assigned. Specific Functional Job Requirements Education Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. Must have the ability to obtain a class B license. Experience Requirements: Knowledge of grounds maintenance, turf and tree care. Knowledge: General knowledge of maintenance equipment and use. Must be able to pass the Illinois Department of Agriculture operator's license within the first 90 calendar days of employment. This licensure is an ongoing requirement of the position. Skills: Welding, mechanical ability, spray chemical equipment. Personal Requirements: Ability to relate to and get along with others.
