ACARA Solutions and our client located in Scottsdale; AZ have a contract to direct hire position available

Stock/Receiving Associate

$18.72-$20.00 per hour

Here's what you'd do:

  • Perform the physical and administrative tasks involved in the receiving, storing and distributing of materials, parts, supplies, and equipment.
  • Fundamentally, you'll unpack, and check goods received against purchase orders or invoices, maintain records of received goods, package and prepare materials for delivery to the designated program and manufacturing locations, perform cycle counts and inventory verification of parts based on information provided, and examine stock, and distribute materials in inventory warehouse or distribution center.
  • Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality
  • Unload, unpack, and label materials and supplies
  • Organize and store items in designated locations within the stockroom
  • Maintain accurate inventory records, including tracking inventory levels and conducting regular counts
  • Pick, pack, and prepare items for shipment or distribution to various departments
  • Ensure the stockroom is clean, organized, and free of safety hazards
  • Assist with inventory audits and resolve any discrepancies
  • Operate stockroom equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, safely and efficiently
  • Communicate with other departments to coordinate inventory needs and resolve issues
Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Operating computers with knowledge of the enterprise software tools (MRP, Receiving)
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Keen eye for detail and exceptional organizational skills
  • Solid customer service and communication skills
  • Awareness of continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ability to obtain necessary certifications as needed
  • Ability to heavy items and operate a forklift

Additional Information:

  • Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.
  • Physical ability to lift and move items up to 50 pounds as needed
