Job overview:

Schneider is seeking a Claims Specialist in Green Bay to handle tasks that enable the successful adjudication of Schneider insurance claims. The Claims Specialist will ensure Department of Transportation (DOT) compliance after accidents by completing federal forms and responding to email messages.

Responsibilities:

  • Create accident reports.
  • Dispatch emergency clean-up crews for on-scene spills.
  • Coordinate time-sensitive tows with Schneider's Maintenance Team.
  • Hire independent adjusters and defense attorneys for major accidents.
  • Coordinate post-accident drug tests.
  • Communicate with law enforcement as needed.
  • Process invoices and payments.

Skills and qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 1-2 years of professional work experience.
  • Previous experience in the transportation industry preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Outstanding problem-solving skills.
