WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR We are looking for a superstar Associate (Account Executive) to play an integral role in the day-to-day operations of our account team. This position will support client partnerships and marketing programs across the NBA ecosystem and help to bring the biggest brand activations to life. You will play an active part in various projects from brief to execution for a financial services client and create experiences that create connection between brand and consumer. The Associate should be highly organized, driven and have the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment. Passion for Sports and Entertainment is a definite plus.
HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL DO (RESPONSIBILITIES)
- Serve as a member of a major financial services brand team within the agency, with responsibility for developing and managing client business
- Support the client'sNBA partnership portfolio, including NBA All-Star & NBA2K, and actively collaborate on existing and new leagues-based initiatives
- Assist in the planning and utilization of contractual assets
- Lead the development and activation of strategic solutions (sponsorship activation, event marketing, sales promotions, and appropriate media support) which build brand equity and deliver results for the client
- Provide sponsorship/partnership expertise and leadership in guiding internal teams across the agency to meet client goals ensuring that brand strategy and objectives are being met
- Develop rapport with clients, partner agencies and sponsorship partners, troubleshooting conflicts as they arise
- Learn and understand the client's business, including general business strategy, products and services, consumers, and competitors in the marketplace
- Provide cross-team support including preparing client status, presentation decks, scheduling, and logistics
- Represent clients as a liaison between internal, cross-functional teams and external partners
- History of establishing effective working relationships across a diverse team
- Attending and taking notes at client meetings and conference calls
- Demonstrate initiative and an interest in innovative, creative problem-solving
- Assisting with research, proposal development and job execution
- Stay informed of the competitive landscape and monitor industry trends and innovations
- Develop full knowledge of agency's offerings, mission and vision

HERE'S WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR (QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS)
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising or Communications preferred
- 3+ years work experience in marketing, advertising, or related field
- 1+ year of client/partnership experience ideally in an agency setting
- Marketing related internship experience preferred
- Strong computer skills - MS Office (including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)
- Solid communication skills - written and verbal
- Detail-oriented, enthusiastic, resourceful
- Proven ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time efficiently between accounts and projects
- Proactive with ambition to work ahead as well as the ability to work both independently and with multiple teams
- Polished, professional demeanor, and projects confidence for the client's
- Demonstrated history of establishing effective working relationships across a diverse team
SALARY RANGE The salary for this position is $64,350. Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position; market considerations; location and region; budgetary considerations; tenure and standing with the company (applicable to current employees); as well as the employee's/applicant's background, pertinent experience, and qualifications.
