Description: Position Summary (FLEXIBLE ON LOCATION) This position is responsible for selling Range's natural gas production. These responsibilities include establishing relationships with strategic consumers in the Midwest region. The position is expected to lead the sales effort in finding and develop customers that use natural gas that will provide Range with a long term market, strong production sales price and timely payment. This position will present concise analysis on complex deals and pipeline transportation to the Director of Gas Marketing for evaluation. The successful team members will be able to communicate effectively both to internal and external stakeholders. This position requires regular travel and frequently will require attendance to business functions outside of normal business hours. Responsibilities * Generate new business opportunities by developing relationships with direct markets and strategic companies in the respective area of concentration. * Lead the negotiation of natural gas contracts with customers for final approval from the Director of Gas Marketing. * Work with the Gas Marketing team to insure that the pipeline capacity is utilized in the most effective manner. * Gather market information from customers, pipelines and industry sponsored events to provide insight on key strategic issues and completion and relay to the appropriate level of management. * Fluid knowledge of the pipeline grid and how natural gas is moving and being sold across the country. * Expected to meet Monthly and seasonal volumes sales goals as established by the Vice President of Marketing and Midstream Operations. * Has a broad sales territory and is responsible for optimizing the sales and transportation in that territory to provide the highest possible netback for Range. * Other duties and special projects as assigned by manager. Work performed in an office is typically in a climate controlled indoor setting. Work performed in the field may require the employee to be subjected to seasonal field conditions ranging from normal to extreme temperature and weather conditions and employees must be able to work in remote, isolated areas.
