Genesis10 is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering III for a 6- month contract position with a leading client in Buffalo Grove, IL. This role pays $50-60/hour W2 based on experience.
Responsibilities:
- Plans, directs, and coordinates manufacturing processes in industrial plant by performing the following duties.
- Develops, evaluates, and improves manufacturing methods.
- Review and analysis of space requirements, and workflow, and designs layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency.
- Train technical as well as non-technical associates. Assist others through moderate to complex tasks.
- Responsible for global lean systems and ensuring effective standardization of lean methodologies.
- Confers with design staff concerning product design while designing new tooling, and modern processes to ensure efficient production methods.
- Confers with vendors to determine product specifications and arrange for purchase of equipment, materials, or parts, and evaluates products according to specifications and quality standards.
- Estimates production times, staffing requirements, and related costs to provide information for management decisions.
- Confers with management, engineering, and other staff regarding manufacturing capabilities, and other considerations to facilitate production processes.
- Research and propose Capital Acquisitions based on production requirements, driving manufacturing cost reductions, safety improvements, or environmental green initiatives.
- Applies statistical methods to estimate future manufacturing requirements and potential issues and while driving solutions.
- Continuing education / implementations on modern industry 4.0 manufacturing including; machine and assembly automation, tooling design, MES system integration, interactive instructions, torque, quality tracking.
- Synthesizes complex or diverse information; Collects and researches data; Uses intuition and experience to complement data; Design's workflows and procedures.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree (B. S.) from four-year College or university; or three to six years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experienced in Lean Manufacturing , FMEA, PFMEA ,Gemba events. Experience (6 months or more) in Auto-Cad, or ProE/ Solid Works is required.
