Position Title: Mechanical Assembler
Wage: $21.00-$24.00 per hour Shift: 1st Hours: 6:00am-4:30pm QPS Employment Group has a great Mechanical Assembler position available at a company in O'Fallon, MO. This is a 1st shift, direct hire position. Mechanical Assembler Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Dive into exciting projects, assembling mechanical components and systems with hand power tools. - Read blueprints. - Perform light machining tasks such as drilling and tapping. - Work closely with engineers and teammates to keep improving our processes. - Keep workspace clean and safe. Mechanical Assembler Requirements: - Experience in mechanical assembly. - Comfortable with hand power tools and measuring instruments. - Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings a huge plus. - A basic understanding of machining techniques is important, as is a sharp eye for detail and a passion for quality. - Good communication skills and the ability to work well with a team are key.
