DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As a Residential Services Aide, you with play a crucial role in providing support and services to consumers living in residential units. Your duties will include helping consumers with their development, providing treatment and training, and monitoring progress. You will receive guidance and supervision from your supervisor and other members of the interdisciplinary team (IDT). As a member of the IDT, you will deliver treatment and training in areas such as self-care, socialization, and health maintenance, as specified in each consumer's individual support plan. Your overall coordination and instruction in these tasks will come from the the Residential Services Worker and Residential Services Supervisor.

- Full-time employment, 40 hours per week
- Work hours are 2:45 PM to 11:15 PM, Sunday - Saturday, with a 30-minute lunch. Work hours and schedule may change based on operational needs.
- Rotating schedule 7 days on 2 days off, 8 days on 4 days off
- Overtime and travel as operationally necessary
- Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Successful completion of the Aide Trainee program (commonwealth title); or
- Six months of paid experience in the care, activities, and personal guidance of individuals with intellectual disabilities.
Other Requirements:

- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Legal Requirements:
- A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination.
- This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.
- Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
