- Lead multicultural communications strategies for major consumer technology brands, with particular focus on telecommunications, consumer electronics, and digital services targeting Latino and African American audiences.
- Develop breakthrough earned media campaigns that showcase technology innovation and product launches while authentically connecting with diverse consumer segments across traditional, digital, and social channels.
- Provide senior counsel to technology clients on multicultural engagement strategies, including product rollouts, service launches, and corporate reputation management within diverse communities.
- Build and maintain relationships with key multicultural technology and consumer media outlets, tech influencers, and community organizations across both English and Spanish-language media.
- Lead integrated communications programs that bridge consumer technology with cultural insights, ensuring tech products and services are positioned relevantly for diverse audiences.
- Drive high-impact product launches, tech demonstrations, and consumer events that meaningfully connect technology brands with diverse communities.
- Lead and mentor diverse account teams working on consumer technology clients, fostering an inclusive environment while delivering exceptional client service.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the consumer technology sector, with focus on brands seeking to strengthen their multicultural market presence.
What You Have:
- 10+ years of experience in public relations or communications, with significant focus on consumer technology and multicultural markets.
- Proven track record leading communications campaigns for major technology brands targeting diverse audiences.
- Deep understanding of the consumer technology landscape, including telecommunications, mobile devices, consumer electronics, and digital services.
- Native or bilingual Spanish language proficiency required, with demonstrated ability to develop and review Spanish-language materials.
- Strong relationships with multicultural technology media, consumer tech journalists, and digital influencers.
- Experience managing large-scale product launches and technology announcements for a audience segments.
- Superior communication skills with the ability to present to and counsel C-suite technology executives.
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or related field.
- Ability to travel as needed for client meetings, product launches, and events.
Salary range: $150,000 - $260,000 Golin has included the base salary range or hourly rate for this role. Actual compensation offered within the range will depend upon, among other factors: a candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience; actual ranges for current or former employees in the role; and market considerations.
