Position Title: General Labor
Wage: $15/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 7am-5:30pm Monday-Thursday We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented team player dedicated to optimizing production efficiency! The General Laborer will expertly scan and organize materials, ensuring seamless inventory management, while skillfully assembling light fixtures for prompt shipment. The General Laborer must be committed to meeting daily production goals with precision and maintain a clean, organized workspace to keep operations running smoothly. This is a contract to hire role in Stevens Point, WI. General Labor Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Work to find proper stock location of items and place on shelf - Box or bag product that will be used as an order component determined by part number - Assembly of light fixtures according to instruction manual - Help to maintain and meet the daily production goals - Read and understand job orders for each job to determine production requirements - Maintain a neat, clean, and organized work area - Use box cutters to open boxes if necessary General Labor Requirements: - Stand up to 8-10 hours on concrete - Lift up to and carry 50lbs regularly - Reach out with both arms and hands, grasp product constantly through the day with both hands - Perform repetitive tasks such as stooping, bending, turning, twisting, reaching, for an extended period of time - Make repetitious movements with hands, wrists, arms, and shoulders throughout shift - Work at a fast pace for 8-10 hours - Proficient reading and writing skills - Ability to use small tools occasionally - Must have great attention to detail QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the Midwest.
