The Loan Operations Quality Assurance Analyst will manage, conduct, report, and maintain documentation of Quality Assurance for the main functions of the Loan Operations. These functions include utilizing reports and data to ensure that inconsistency and inaccuracies are identified and remediate, developing management reports, and other functions to ensure quality, completeness and accuracy across all line of business within loan operations. 40 Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Assist in the management of a robust quality assurance program for operational processes within Loan Operations, including enhancing and maintaining the sampling methodologies for testing within the department. Continuously analyze programs against internal procedures and regulatory requirements to ensure quality, completeness, and accuracy of various functions. Conduct regular audits and review of loan files to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations. Conduct sample reviews of functions managed in loan operation including new loans boarded, loan modification/extension, payments/advance/paydown, rate changes, and maintenance completed on IBS, vendor management reports, and annual high-risk reviews. Work with the Audit Department, share findings and redirect quality assurance efforts as needed to address audit findings, implement quality assurance measures and improve overall loan processing efficiency. Develop checklists to ensure all appropriate forms and documents are updated when changes are made to policies and procedures. Analyze trends in QA reporting to support training to employees to enhance performance and increase the effectiveness of within Loan Operations. Analyze loan data to identify trends, issues and areas of improvement. Track status of remedial efforts and assess adequacy of resolution. Draft proposed enhancements to written procedures pursuant to QA findings. Remain current on industry rules, regulations, and best practices to ensure the testing program and processes comply with these regulations. Required Skills: Extensive knowledge of commercial, residential, and consumer lending, credit and lending terminology, bank regulatory requirements, and risk management. Knowledgeable/experienced with at least one major loan processing system, preferably with syndications capabilities. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to advise management and liaise between loan operations, Internal Audit and Risk Management. Understand Internal Control concepts to advise management on issues. Required Experience: High School diploma or GED. Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality assurance, auditing or compliance within the loan or financial services industry. Preferred Experience: Bachelor's degree in finance, business or a related field. CQA, CIA or similar. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. $62,300.00 $105,100.00
