The starting wage is $20.60, and up, depending on experience.

Typical Schedule during Production is Monday-Friday 6:00 AM -4:00 PM. Typically no Saturdays are needed. Typical schedule during Maintenance is Monday-Thursday 6am-4pm.

DUTIES AND/OR RESPONSIBILITIES




  1. Perform routine maintenance, including plant clean up.
  2. Cleanup spills of rock, sand, cement.
  3. Help with snow removal with shovel or snow blower.
  4. Help inspect plant for needed repairs or maintenance, inform plant operator help as needed.
  5. Operate hand tools and safety equipment including but not limited to: grease gun, wrenches, shovels, fire hose, drills, grinders, air hammers, impacts and cutting torches.
  6. Assist with plant operations of ready-mix plant as directed by supervisor or plant operator.
  7. Be able to work at heights safely.
  8. Obey all safety rules and work in a safe manner.
  9. Work alone or with others in a friendly and cooperative manner.
  10. Be self-motivated.
  11. Assist with loading or unloading of materials.
  12. Help with the dispensing of ready-mix admixtures: fiber, liquids, bags, buckets and any others as needed.
  13. Pour, strip, stack, blocks and set up block forms.
  14. Cut, break up, shovel, and set up concrete patches to be poured in the yards.
  15. Help to keep shop and equipment clean and neatly stored.
  16. Help with cleanup and maintenance of Load and Go as well as Wash Out Facilities.
  17. Performs other duties as assigned.


EDUCATION AND/OR WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS



  1. Less than high school education, or
  2. Up to one month related experience or training, or
  3. Equivalent combination of education and experience.
  4. Driver's license preferred.
