Kennedy Jenks is seeking a driven Talent Acquisition Manager. This role is pivotal in advancing talent acquisition strategies and processes aimed at expanding KJ's workforce and fostering internal staff growth opportunities. You will be responsible for identifying, attracting and recruiting exceptional engineering, scientific and business support staff who will help drive company growth and innovation. This role includes managing the full cycle recruitment process with a strategic approach aimed at identifying and attracting the best talent while ensuring a seamless and efficient hiring process.



  • Collaborate with business leaders to identify and understand staffing needs and create an effective recruitment strategy that align with these needs.
  • Develop and implement creative sourcing strategies to identify and engage top talent through various channels including social media, job boards, professional associations and organizations, direct outreach and more.
  • Participate in interview panels, ensuring a consistent and structured interview process while also ensuring an intentional and positive candidate experience.
  • Develop compelling and inclusive job descriptions and job postings that effectively appeal to top talent.
  • Develop KJ's talent acquisition strategy and identify, prioritize and lead initiatives to create a best-in-class candidate full-cycle recruitment experience.
  • Oversee a strategic campus recruiting program and internship program to align with KJ's talent and growth goals.
  • Manage KPIs and standard operating procedures for recruitment. Develop appropriate metrics and tracking mechanisms to optimize the impact of the talent management programs. Prepare and present regular recruitment activity and results reporting.
  • Collaborate with the communications and marketing team to develop a best in-class employer branding strategy to drive recruiting and attracting top talent and positive online brand and reputation.
  • Collaborate with members of the HR team in areas such as recruitment, compensation, and talent development to cultivate a culture that promotes high-performing teams.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy to attract, retain, and advance a diverse workforce that reflects KJ's commitment to diversity and inclusivity.
  • Support a succession planning program focused on identifying high potential employees and key roles to avoid vacancies and knowledge gaps within leadership roles.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition to continuously improve recruitment strategies.
  • Act as a strategic advisor regarding recruitment technology and support implementation, training and vendor management as needed.
  • Manage external recruiting vendors, partnerships and contracts including 3rd party recruitment agencies, recruitment software and job boards.
  • Lead the Talent Acquisition team including providing coaching, mentoring, training, onboarding and ongoing professional development and support.
  • Manage the Talent Acquisition budget, including recommendations related to staff needs, making cost-effective decisions.
  • Manage background check and all other pre-employment screening programs.
  • Create and facilitate internal training as needed with relation to recruitment processes and technology.
  • Identify, engage, and nurture a diverse talent pool of potential candidates, including passive job seekers, industry professionals, and upcoming graduates.
  • Oversee employee referral program.


Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's Degree or relevant equivalent experience
  • 10+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition in a multi-state environment
  • Experience within the A/E/C industry required
  • Experience in a leadership and/or supervisory role with the ability to develop and coach others and oversee work of others to achieve meaningful outcomes and create a positive business impact.
  • Experience with recruitment marketing and establishing an employer brand
  • Strong relationship management skills with the ability influence others and to build and foster relationships with peers, external vendors and internal staff and business leaders.
  • Able to travel to KJ offices and to meetings, events and conferences as needed
  • Comprehensive knowledge of employment law as related to talent acquisition
  • Tech Savvy with strong understanding of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills

Salary range for this position is anticipated to be $120,00 - $140,000 and may vary based upon education, experience, qualifications, licensure/certifications and geographic location.
