Job Summary:
Under the general supervision of the Director of the Information School (iSchool), teach LIS 614: User Experience Design Capstone, in a web-based / online format for the summer semester of the 2024-25 academic year; May 19 - August 24, 2025. Responsibilities: Facilitates classroom, online, and/or laboratory instruction and assists with instructional development and design for a single course or series of courses within an academic discipline to support the delivery of quality instruction. Provides for-credit instruction in formats such as classroom, online and/or laboratory settings, including grading. Serves as an instructor of record.

Education: Preferred Qualifications: Experience working or teaching in the field of user experience design required. Knowledge of user experience design presentation skills, professional portfolios, UX field networking venues and career development required. Previous teaching experience and experience in an online learning environment preferred. Work Type: Full or Part Time: 32.5% - 100% Appointment Type, Duration: Terminal, 3 month appointment.
