Job Overview:

We are looking for a skilled assembler to perform a variety of tasks as assigned in conjunction with the assembly of our product. You will ensure all parts fit correctly and are suitable for the final product. This position is responsible for safely performing high-level continuous work to quality standards. Assignments may change based on business demands.
You must have desired technical knowledge and possess great manual dexterity. Ability to interpret instructions represented in manuals, drawings, schematics etc. and follow them with precision.

Responsibilities:

* Assemble Components: Follow technical instructions and drawings to assemble parts and subassemblies.
* Quality Control: Inspect and test assembled products to ensure they meet quality standards; responsible and accountable for producing quality work to prescribed standards (UL certified shop).
* Tool Operation: Use hand and power tools to assemble parts.
* Material Handling: Prepare materials and equipment needed for the assembly process.
* Maintenance: Maintain tools and equipment in good condition and keep the workspace clean and organized.
* Reporting: Report any issues, malfunctions, or defective parts to the supervisor.

Requirements:

* At least 2+ (two) or more years of experience as an assembler or similar role
* At least 2+ (two) or more years of experience in reading and interpret schematics and work with low-power control wiring.
* At least 2+ (two) or more years of experience utilizing hand tools and pneumatic tools (wrench, screwdriver, and drill, metric and standard tape measure); familiar with these tools is a plus (but not required, Pipe threader/groover, pneumatic tools (impact wrench and drills), forklift, and experience with compressed air.

Core Competencies:

* Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
* Ability to interpret schematics and work with low-power control wiring.
* Ability to work independently and manage tasks with minimal supervision.
* Strong problem-solving skills in a fast-paced, manufacturing environment.
* Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate effectively with other departments.

Preferences:

* High School Diploma or GED preferred; secondary education is a plus.
* 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing setting preferred.
* Basic mechanical aptitude to use equipment and maintain general understanding of business process.
* Familiar with and can utilize power tools & pneumatic tools.
* Knowledgeable of and able to utilize computer systems.

Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements:

* This position will be based 100% onsite at our St. Charles, Missouri facility
