As a Cook, you will embrace the opportunity to elevate the culinary experience by joining our exceptional Food & Beverage TEAM. Join our exceptional culinary team as a Cook, where you'll be responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting food items in accordance with hotel standards. You will play a key role in ensuring that guests enjoy consistent, high-quality meals while adhering to health and safety regulations. This position offers an opportunity to develop your culinary skills in a dynamic kitchen environment.

Essential Job Functions:



  • Prepare, cook, and present menu items following standardized recipes.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils.
  • Ensure proper storage and rotation of food to comply with health regulations.
  • Assist in receiving and inspecting deliveries to ensure the quality and quantity of products.
  • Follow portion controls and minimize waste to support food cost initiatives.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
  • Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, such as assisting with special events or banquets.



Hotel Specific:



  • Working both indoors and outdoors. Outside in all weather conditions, including inclement weather.
  • Work in multiple outlets across the property


Physical Demands:



  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Manual dexterity to handle knives, food preparation tools, and kitchen equipment.
  • Ability to work in high-temperature environments, such as near stoves or fryers.
  • Perform other duties as required, including participation in VIP events and staff meetings.


Qualifications:



  • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred but not required).
  • Prior culinary experience or training (preferred but not required).
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation standards (ServSafe certification is a plus).
  • Passion for cooking and a desire to learn and grow in the culinary field.
