This full-time position is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and safety in all areas, including production, packaging, lunchrooms, and restrooms. Duties include sweeping, mopping, trash removal, operating cleaning equipment, and following safety and sanitation protocols. Prior sanitation or manufacturing experience is a plus. Performs daily cleaning and sanitation of the Bridgeton production facility based on direction from the supervisor and use of the sanitation schedule and forms. Maintains clean and orderly working conditions of the manufacturing facility following all safety and quality rules and regulations. Primary Duties & Responsibilities Understand and demonstrate safe work practices at all times. Must stay focused on maintaining a safe work environment. Demonstrate high level of good housekeeping practices to promote a safe work environment Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices and Standard Operating Procedures at all times Execute tasks on the sanitation schedule including the following areas: warehouse, production and packaging areas, lunchrooms, restrooms, offices and locker rooms Sweep and mop production areas Operate warehouse scissor lift and forklift to reach hard to clean areas Replenish various supplies Remove and Dispose of all trash and recyclables Operates mechanical cleaning equipment Contribute to the accomplishment of key performance indicators including safety, quality, production, cost and development Comply with all Company policies and procedures Other duties as assigned Education and Experience Profile High school diploma or general education degree (GED) Required Skills High level of organizational skill Ability to communicate effectively with all levels within the organization Proficiently operate a scissor lift and comfortable with heights Prior sanitation experience is preferred Prior manufacturing experience is a bonus as well Work Environment Exposure to hot and cold warehouse climate Frequent exposure to motorized warehouse equipment Frequent standing, sitting, walking, bending, pushing, pulling, and stooping
