SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY: This position has no supervisory responsibilities. i Keyword: Manufacturing, Engineer, Shelter, DoD Required Experience: KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: Ability to maintain sensitive and confidential information as required by government standards. Ability to interact effectively with peers and supervisors. Ability to interact appropriately with the public when necessary. Ability to adhere to workplace rules. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: BA/BS degree in a technical field, manufacturing, or industrial discipline. Minimum 2-5 years experiencein an industrial manufacturing environment in a technician role. New product development experience from design to volume production stages. Experience using AutoCAD, Inventor, and Visual Manufacturing software. Competent in the use of Microsoft Office products. Experience in improving production processes. Ability to travel to suppliers as required. WORK ENVIRONMENT / PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Office environment. Ability to perform repetitive motion (rotating wrists, keyboarding, using small/large tools). Ability to liftiup to 25 pounds. Ability to tolerate constant noise (machine motors large fans). Ability to work safely in the presence of hazardous chemicals and hazardous conditions. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand or sit for long periods of time. The employee frequently is required to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls and to climb or balance.
