JRAD is seeking an immediate fill position for an experienced Senior Expeditionary Engineering Support Analyst to support the Director of Air Force Civil Engineers (AF/A4C). Primarily telework with onsite presence in NCR as required.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will provide critical support to the Department of the Air Force (DAF) by coordinating, consolidating, developing, and maintaining Expeditionary Engineering and Joint Doctrine governance and programmatic documents. This role requires extensive knowledge and experience in Expeditionary Engineering Support, as well as the ability to provide senior-level perspectives on policy and doctrine development.

Roles/Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate, consolidate, develop, and maintain Expeditionary Engineering and DAF and Joint Doctrine governance and programmatic documents (e.g., DAFIs, policies).

  • Provide detailed updates to leadership and stakeholders through meetings/forums, including developing and delivering associated meeting materials (e.g., slides, after-action reports, minutes).

  • Develop and advocate for DAF capability needs in Expeditionary Engineering and Technology initiatives under AF/A4C program management oversight.

  • Provide senior-level input into the development of Department of the Air Force and Joint Doctrine, policy, and guidance.

  • Analyze proposed policies, doctrine, strategic plans, and concepts of operation; provide recommendations on their suitability for DAF requirements.

  • Review, update, prepare, and coordinate doctrine documents, directive publications, non-directive publications, and joint publications.

  • Participate in and support Readiness Sub-tables and associated panels/working groups, assisting with deliverables like technical reports, white papers, and briefings.

  • Review technical documents and prepare concise review comments for senior leadership endorsement.

  • Assist in developing staff packages for HAF electronic staffing system and represent DAF Civil Engineer equities in various forums.

  • Interface with LeMay Center, MAJCOM, AFCEC, HAF staff, AFIMSC, and Joint Staff counterparts to ensure synchronization of deliverables.

  • Review, analyze, and propose revisions to the Engineer Force Laydown (EFL) and other readiness products.

  • Assist in assessing existing products and proposed changes to align with strategic constructs and Global Force Management (GFM) requirements.

  • Review, analyze, and recommend Unit Type Codes (UTCs) for combat support capabilities.

Required Skills and Education:

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in Expeditionary Engineering Support with demonstrated ability to perform at a senior level. (GS-13/14 Equivalent)

  • Broad expertise in corporate processes, policies, GFM policies, guidance, and strategies.

  • Local to DMV (DC, MD, VA)

  • Proficient in MS Software Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Security Clearance:

  • DoD Secret clearance required
