Role Description

The Network Administrator will be joining a team responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our organization's network infrastructure. They will play an important role in ensuring the reliability, security, and efficiency of our network systems. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape and be part of the growth of a fast-moving company with breakthrough technology and an incredible mission!

What you'll do:
  • Working under the guidance of the Senior Network Engineer, assist in configuring and implementing network infrastructure solutions that support production manufacturing systems.

  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot network hardware, software, and peripheral devices, such as routers, switches, and firewalls, escalating more complex issues to senior team members.

  • Collaborate with the IT Support Team and Systems Administration staff to provide network support across the organization, including network cabling and end user network troubleshooting.

  • Conduct network performance monitoring to ensure optimal network operation and scalability.

  • Assist in developing and maintaining network documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

What you'll bring:
  • Two or more years of experience in network administration.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of networking concepts, protocols, and technologies, such as TCP/IP, LAN switches, VPNs, and VLANs.

  • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to diagnose and assist with network issue resolution.

  • Proficiency in network monitoring and management tools, such as SolarWinds, Nagios, Wireshark, and NetFlow analyzers highly desired.

  • Experience in configuring and managing network equipment from multiple vendors, such as Cisco, Meraki, SonicWall, and Ubiquity highly desired.

  • Industry certifications preferred (CCNA, JNCIA, PCNSA, etc).
