Job Overview The Mold Operator will operate the mold machine process in a method to produce quality parts at the productivity rate that is in accordance with customer specifications using the Hubbell Power Systems Quality Operating Principles and the most current Quality System. A Day In The Life Produce quality mold parts using various molding process systems Perform minor troubleshoot & minor repairs/adjustments Assist with mold changes Perform 100% trim and inspection Identify and separate scrap Complete daily paperwork (Hr X Hr charts) Counting and packaging part Maintain safety, quality, production and 5(s) housekeeping standards Assist and support departments as needed What will help you thrive in this role? Basic communication and organizational skills Basic math Basic mechanical aptitude Basic troubleshooting and ability to operate hoist Hand tools knowledge/use Basic computer (PC) knowledge and useT his position may require standing for long periods and handling of heavy materials. Exposure to the typical conditions of a manufacturing floor including noise, dust, and variable temperatures.
