As an Applications Engineer - Radiography Systems you will be providing critical technical sales support, delivering customer training and Inspection Services business operations support.

As an Applications Engineer - Radiography, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing technical sales support through proficiency in the operation of Radiography equipment in order to position technology and identify the best technical and commercial solutions for each application.
  • Promoting the value proposition for Waygate Technologies' solutions through live and virtual demonstrations.
  • Working closely with regional sales, account sales and commercial operations staff to demonstrate equipment, create solutions offerings and close sales opportunities.
  • Delivering customer training on equipment functionality, share application specific best practices and technique development guidance.
  • Supporting Inspection Services business operations by working with clients to understand inspection criteria and drawing requirements to create part specific inspection technique plan for scanning and evaluation.

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Experience in industrial radiography or computed tomography
  • Available to travel ~35% of the time
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in computed tomography)
  • Analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving mindset.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Citizenship Verification: This position requires verification of U.S. citizenship due to citizenship-based legal restrictions. Specifically, this position supports US federal, state, and/or local US government sub-contracts and is subject to certain citizenship-based restrictions where required or permitted by applicable law. To meet this legal requirement, and as a condition of employment, the successful candidate's citizenship will be verified via a valid passport
