Description The forklift driver maintains production flow to and from the production line and coordinates inbound and outbound loads to meet production needs and customer orders. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Unload materials and merchandise from incoming vehicles and safely stack them to assigned places Complete all/other duties as assigned including working in other departments and other projects as needed, especially during the off-peak season. Locate and move stock of products to pallets or crates for storage or shipment Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies Transport raw materials to production workstations Daily safety and maintenance check of vehicle, report any concerns Keep updated accurate records of inventory and activity logs Comply with company policies and legal guidelines Help maintain a safe and orderly environment of the facilities Follow all safety requirements and standards per guidelines Support production lines as needed QUALIFICATIONS Valid certification to operate forklifts Attention to detail and familiarity with industrial equipment Excellent physical condition, eye sight and coordination, physical ability to lift 50 lbs.
