JOB MISSION:

We are seeking an experienced Real Estate Data Analytics Manager to lead our analytics efforts related to our real estate portfolio. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in data analytics, particularly within the real estate sector and the Retail business, and a strong background in managing analytics teams. This role will be crucial in providing data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making for store locations, market analysis, and overall real estate strategy. This position will work closely with and report into the Sr. Director for Global Real Estate.

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Strategic Real Estate Analytics

  • Conduct in-depth analysis of the real estate portfolio, including store performance, market trends, and competitive landscape.

  • Provide data-driven recommendations for optimizing store locations, including closures, relocations, and new openings.

  • Lead major market analyses to inform future real estate strategies and investment decisions.

  • Build and implement capabilities using GIS and mobile data to enhance location intelligence and decision-making.

Data Platform Management & Reporting

  • Act as the product owner for the Real Estate Data Model platform, ensuring efficient processes for store approvals and financial investments.

  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI, Alteryx, and other BI platforms to provide actionable insights to senior management.

  • Consolidate and process raw data from multiple sources to build predictive models, including classification and clustering techniques.

  • Create monthly summarized reports for the International Real Estate Committee.

Collaboration & Cross-Functional Alignment

  • Partner with market real estate teams to identify challenges, define business needs, and devise solutions to improve efficiency.

  • Collaborate with IT, data engineering, and finance teams to enhance data collection, management, and reporting processes.

  • Share and solicit best practices for data analysis across global markets, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.

Systems & Database Management

  • Design, manage, and validate databases for Global Real Estate Systems.

  • Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of real estate data across systems.

  • Drive automation and optimization of reports for real estate committees to streamline decision-making processes.

Team Leadership & Innovation

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the analytics team by encouraging innovative methodologies and tools.

  • Lead efforts to gather and analyze data, providing insights that align with global real estate objectives.

  • Train and mentor team members on advanced analytics tools and techniques to drive the adoption of cutting-edge strategies.

REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS:

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in Real Estate business intelligence and mobile data analysis, and location intelligence platforms.

  • Ability to design and deliver against global real estate roadmap by enabling the use of data and geospatial analysis (GIS) for Global markets

  • Expertise in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and data preparation tools (e.g., Alteryx).

  • Strong knowledge of data modeling, classification, and clustering techniques.

  • Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally and manage complex data systems.

  • Experience designing and managing analytics platforms for real estate strategy.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Flexible Work Schedule

Our North American hybrid model encourages rich in-person experiences, showcasing our commitment to teamwork and connection, while maintaining flexibility for associates. New Balance Associates currently work in office three days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday). Our offices are fully open, and amenities are available across our North American office locations. To continue our focus on hybrid work we have introduced "Work from Anywhere" (WFA) for four weeks per calendar year.
