Our Powertrain Operations facility, located on Pilgrim Road in Menomonee Falls, WI, is where the "jewel" of the motorcycle comes to life. Pilgrim Road employees produce engines and transmissions for the final assembly plant in York, Pennsylvania, as well as transmissions, and replacement parts for sale through Harley-Davidson Genuine Motor Parts and Accessories business. Job Summary

This position will collaborate with and provide direction to packaging material suppliers to supplement group resources. Support product suppliers and related internal category representatives with packaging design or material supply issues. Provide and analyze data on packaging materials and identify trends and opportunities for improvement. Support the development and use of predictive costing tools for packaging to support sound business decisions. Facilitate teams of internal and external stakeholders to address packaging related issues within functional area.

Job Responsibilities



  • Demonstrates a fundamental knowledge of packaging gained through education or past experience.
  • Uses existing product launch methodologies to achieve objectives with guidance and direction from more senior level roles.
  • Proactively supports the Packaging group by being accountable for their contributions in meeting the objectives.
  • Communicates effectively with all levels of the Harley-Davidson organization, including salaried, hourly, and external resources through the exchange of information, asking questions, and checking for understanding.


Education Requirements



  • High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
  • Bachelor's Degree Preferred



Experience Requirements

Required



  • Typically requires no previous professional experience.
  • Fundamental knowledge of packaging and understanding of functions such as packaging material supplier quality, packaging data integrity, and packaging-related process improvements.
  • Willingness and skills to work effectively within a group and/or team.
