The Meeting Event Manager II serves as the primary client liaison and team leader for assigned programs and events, overseeing their coordination and execution from an operational standpoint. This role manages all aspects of program planning while delivering exceptional customer service. Additionally, the position is responsible for budget management, including forecasting and tracking any budget variations.

Qualifications 1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required. 2. Minimum 3+ years of experience in Pharma or Life Sciences meeting/event planning (including incentives, association, corporation) or hotel catering, convention, sales experience preferred. International hotel destination knowledge a plus. 3. Pharma or Life Sciences meeting experience is preferred 4. HMCC and/or CMP preferred 5. Strong knowledge of program/event management and budget maintenance. Exposure to project planning/forecasting financial implications. 6. Prior successful experience in developing and maintaining key client relationships. 7. Professional oral presentation and writing skills required. 8. Prior experience in effectively handling multiple projects/demands. 9. Excellent computer skills; Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools and Cvent 10. Ability to learn new technology quickly. 11. Ability to travel 30% of time required.
