Intern - Year Round (Collections Workforce Management)

Overview

To optimize the performance of business operations by analyzing current and forecasting future performance. Apply various analytical techniques to solve operational issues and support strategic initiatives. Work under minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

* Provide support to the Workforce Management department of Collections; may work on small projects or portions of larger projects
* Support Collections business strategy and initiatives
* Assist and collaborate with various levels of staff to accomplish tasks/assignments
* Perform research and basic analysis; may include quantitative and/or qualitative analysis
* Maintain professionalism in all interactions with teammates and business partners
* Attend meetings with Collections Operations and Workforce Management maintaining detailed notes of discussions and important action items
* Perform routine audits of system data to ensure accuracy needed to support forecasting and scheduling functions
* Process and update data in automated systems; may generate and analyze reports
* Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

* Must be pursuing a degree from an accredited college/university
* Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
* Effective research, analytical, and problem solving skills
* Effective skill maintaining accuracy with attention to detail and meeting deadlines
* Ability to exercise initiative and good judgment to make sound decisions
* Ability to adapt to new technologies
* Effective word processing and spreadsheet software skills
* Effective time management skills
* Ability to work independently and in a team environment
