The salary range for this position takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.

At WGU, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their position, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is:

Pay Range: $49,800.00 - $74,600.00

Job Description

Job Profile Summary

The Program Migration Coordinator plays a pivotal role in the day-to-day administration of the program versioning system, ensuring seamless operation and engaging with our stakeholders to foster both student and academic success. This multifaceted role includes collaborating with various internal stakeholders, planning and maintaining migration information documents, and accurately executing ongoing migrations. Additionally, you will ensure that all activities align with the broader framework of academic standards and policies, contributing to the continuous improvement and adherence to institutional guidelines.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with our Student Mentoring, WGU Records, and Program Development teams to evaluate new program needs and determine migration pathways.
  • Develop and deliver guidance and strategic insights to facilitate faculty understanding and navigation of the migration process.
  • Serve as the primary subject matter expert for faculty on all aspects of program migration.
  • Lead cross-departmental communication efforts to ensure alignment and smooth transitions.
  • Coordinate with faculty and other key stakeholders to ensure students are fully informed and supported throughout the migration process.
  • Proactively identify and resolve student inquiries and concerns related to program migrations.
  • Coordinates migration paths and crosswalk credit to comply with institutional policy requirements and to ensure compliance with WGU academic programs.
  • Creation, implementation, and maintenance of Program Migration documents and crosswalk rules, ensuring accuracy and integrity.
  • Develop and maintain detailed program curricula version comparisons to identify and validate course equivalencies (crosswalks).
  • Publish accurate information regarding upcoming programs through the Program Migration Information site.
  • Implementation and monitoring of the migration process.
  • Day-to-day management of crosswalk, migration, and student credit concerns and questions.
  • Case Management for all migration or crosswalk related cases.
  • Pulling, creation, and analysis of reports for use with one off projects, such as catalog retirement.
  • Exercising independent judgement to manage daily priorities and interpret the application of policies and procedures regarding daily tasks.
  • Exhibits empathetic professional conduct, interaction, and communication as a representative of the organization and the department.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Aptitude for technology

  • Excellent written & oral communication skills, including proofreading and a critical eye for design.

Education

  • Bachelors Degree

Experience

  • 2 years of experience in higher education.

Position & Application Details
